How embarassing to slip and fall on your a$$? Worse still, the car that pulls up has your hot professor in it behind very dark tinted windows.
Joshua is totally blindsided when the beautiful young woman he stopped to help (before her neighbor beat him to it) is his student. He felt a connection before talking to or even knowing her name.
Brooke is taken away when the Professor identifies himself as the driver that had stopped to help her, but never made it out of the car.
When Joshua mistakenly thinks the neighbor is her boyfriend she corrects him. His reply? "Good to know" and goes into his office. What??
Yes, folks this only the first day of class for the Spring Semester.
Will Brooke drop his class (that she really doesn't need to graduate in 4 months) so they can go out as he asks? Even if she does there could still be consequences for them both. She doesn't think she can do a sneaking around thing. Valentine's Day, birthdays and Graduation with parents. Who will survive? You will love finding out.
I did not read the books in order. You don't really have to but I recommend it because the writing gets better with each book. I loved the other books but read this one last. It was cute but I didn't feel like it was completed. I still recommend this author!
Extremely steamy, professor/student romance.

Professor Joshua Baxter notices Brooke Evans on the first day of the semester, when she is literally knocked off her feet and sitting on her wet bottom in the snow. When the stunning man enters her classroom as her new prof, she is frozen too. Frozen, gaping and staring straight into his beautiful face. Immediately embarrassed in front of him for the second time in one morning, she takes her seat and tries to focus. She fails miserably and as he goes through the motions of their class, he can’t stop glancing in her direction. Joshua doesn’t waste any time fishing for information about her relationship status and once he discovers that she’s single, it’s go time.

He offers to drive her to class from now on, so that she can avoid more unfortunate icy sidewalk incidents and reluctantly she agrees. The sexual tension builds in these seemingly innocent daily car pools, until they can’t contain it anymore. Their intense attraction erupts behind the locked door of his office and there is no turning back. ( starts to melt here…)

They try to date as normally as possible, they try to take a step back from each other, they try to keep their taboo relationship hidden, but they just can’t keep away from each other. Even though he’s almost twice her age and her teacher, their connection is undeniable.

I LOVE professor/student romances, so I had a hunch that I’d like this one too! However, I really liked that there wasn’t over the top drama and ridiculous complications in their relationship, other than the professor/student factor. Brooke’s friends were a bit meddling, but did come around once she was being honest with them. Brooke and Joshua were both consenting and intelligent adults and were willing to deal with the consequences as they came, because they both knew that what they had was worth the risk. When they first met, Joshua and Brooke shared an instant attraction and chemistry and they both quickly found themselves less skeptical of the concept of love at first sight.

I just loved that this was a light, sexy, happy student/teacher romance with an exceptionally happy ending. This is a standalone novella and I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be released!

While this was a quick and dirty (for real ) ) novella, it was a good balance of heat, heart, and conflict. One of the better professor-student reads out there. Brooke isn't fully mature, but she's grounded and appropriately concerned about the attraction she has to Joshua, who's not above being a fool for the *right* young woman.
This is the story of Joshua and Brooke, a professor and student. On the first day of the Brookes last term in college she is walking to class and slips on the ice, a car stops on the side of the road next to her but when the person in the car sees that she gets help it drives off. When she gets to her first class she meets a very hot, alpha, and strict professor and he looks at her with familiar eyes. We find out later that he was in the car. There is an instant attraction that Joshua and Brooke have to each other but being that there is a forbidden policy against their relationship they must decide if they want to proceed with a relationship and/or and if they want to let people know about their attraction. As the story progresses the sexual tension builds and the ability of the characters to stop their attraction dies. They begin a relationship and decide that they really love each other and want to be together. There is an age difference of 18 years between the two so this story is more if a May/December romance. This was a great book, it had hotness, attraction, dominate alpha male, and a fun story line. I really enjoyed reading it and would recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
